Shad Anwar

Shad Anwar is a Film and Motion Design graduate from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, Berlin. 

As a writer and producer, he brings stories to life by blending visual storytelling with strong technical skills in production and editing. 

His work explores themes of identity, transition, and creative collaboration, with a growing focus on producing impactful films and documentaries.

Project Experience

2025 – Writer & Producer, Soulport Terminal (Graduation Film)

Developed the concept, assembled a creative team, and oversaw the full production process from pre-production to final cut.

2025 – Producer, Nostos

Led production planning and coordination for this short film, bringing together the creative team and ensuring a smooth shoot day. Oversaw on-set logistics, scheduling, and crew management to support the director’s vision.

2025 - Writer & Producer, HOW TO DO THE WORK

Created a short experimental moving portrait exploring self-reflection and personal growth. Developed the concept and script, collaborated with an actress, and shot on location across Berlin’s U-Bahn stations. Composed the original soundtrack, edited, and colour graded the film.

2024 – Co-Producer & Director, TFM Originals Episode 1
Co-produced and directed the first episode of a short documentary series. Handled editing and sound design to shape the narrative and deliver a cohesive final piece.
